France is a paradise for people, who want to visit a beach where you can tan and swim naked. Numerous beaches are spread out along the French coast and sometimes even at the countryside, on the border of a lake or river.
Whether you like long sandy beaches or small intimate creeks, you will find your happiness.
To help you, we have ordered the beaches in three categories :
The official beaches where naturism is authorized by bylaw. These are generally, limited by two sign boards. These naturist beaches are to be preferred.
The nudity-tolerated beaches where naturism is often practised for years without explicit opposition of the mayor nor official authorization by bylaw. It might be a solution when there are no official naturist beaches in the neighbourhood.
The beaches where naturism is prohibited by bylaw. Sometimes, a board will mention it, sometimes not. Personally, we dissuade these beaches, because you run the risk to be fined, even to get a legal proceeding.

7 Pissevaches naturist beach
